Welcome To Hillsgrove Primary School
My name is Kathryn Laurie (Principal) and I have been at Hillsgrove since September 2012. I originally joined the team as a Year 5 teacher. Since then, I have lead both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In 2020, I moved to another school in the Trust as Acting Assistant Head Teacher. I then returned to Hillsgrove as Assistant Principal before becoming the Principal in 2022.
At Hillsgrove, we have high aspirations for all pupils and have recently overhauled the curriculum to make sure it is ambitious for all. My aim is to ensure all pupils at Hillsgrove have the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the world beyond school.
We want pupils at Hillsgrove to be confident in having the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the world beyond school. We want all pupils to share our high aspirations for themselves and to develop a love of learning for life.
