Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is additional funding for schools which is designed to help disadvantaged pupils of all abilities perform better and thereby close the gap between them and their peers.  Schools will receive the funding for each pupil registered as eligible for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years.  It is up to the school how they decide to spend the funding.

In February 2018, the Government updated its written guidance regarding looked-after children in schools.  All schools should now have a designated member of staff who will take responsibility for promoting the achievement of looked-after and post looked-after children.

If you have any questions about Pupil Premium, Free School Meals or whether your child is eligible, please contact the school office. Details are found on the contact page.
